Immersed in the Amazon Rainforest, travelers experience a sense of community and being part of nature.
This is the spirit of Kapawi, an Ecuadorian ecolodge owned and managed by the Achuar indigenous community. They welcome visitors, prepare the food, lead excursions, share stories and show traditional ceremonies. The Achuar also built the comfortable huts and bungalows with traditional architecture. Guests can exchange with the community while exploring the forest on hikes or boat and kayak tours.
IT’S REMOTE BECAUSE it is a meaningful immersion in culture and nature, where visitors can experience body and mind healing based on ancient indigenous knowledge.
